Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 2026

Volocode Studio (“we”, “us”) operates the website at volocode-studio.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you interact with our site, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little information as we reasonably can.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you give us

When you use our “Start a project” form, book a call, or email us, you may provide your name, email address, company, project description, budget range, and timeline preferences. Form submissions are validated on our server and delivered to [email protected] through our email delivery provider; we do not keep a separate database of your submissions.

1.2 Booking calls

If we publish a Calendly (or similar) booking link, scheduling a call with us is handled by that third-party provider. They collect your name, email, and event preferences under their own privacy terms.

1.3 Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider may log basic technical data (IP address, user-agent, request paths, timestamps) for security and reliability purposes. We do not currently run client-side analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts that profile visitors.

2. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal data, share it with advertisers, or use it for automated decision-making.

3. Legal basis (GDPR)

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we process your data on the basis of (a) steps you ask us to take prior to entering a contract (your enquiry), (b) our legitimate interest in running a small business, and (c) your consent where you provide it voluntarily.

4. Sharing with third parties

We rely on a small set of vendors to operate the site:

Each of these acts as a data processor under our instructions, and we review their security and privacy commitments before using them.

5. Data retention

We retain enquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the duration of our engagement plus a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes (typically up to seven years).

6. Your rights

Subject to local law, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, port it to another provider, and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with a data-protection authority, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with them.

7. Cookies

The volocode-studio.com site does not set first-party cookies or use cookie-based analytics. Third-party services we link to (such as Calendly or Upwork) may set their own cookies under their own policies.

8. Security

We use HTTPS in transit and follow reasonable safeguards to protect information shared with us. No internet service can be 100% secure, so we recommend not including highly sensitive data in unsolicited enquiries.

9. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Effective date” above. We encourage you to review the policy periodically.

11. Contact
